Surfing Teahupo'o deserves respect (here we see the late Andy Irons), but how about the photographer swimming around in this picture ;-)

A proud daddy pt.2

So happy with our second girl and very proud of her mom and big sister!!! Lara was born last Sunday evening and is doing very well.
SOS sup
Must be nice to live in Japan..... Lots of things available ;-)
Here's a nice looking SUP by Sean available through Stokegear in Japan. One of the only things I can read is FREE shipping, but that probably won't count for shipping to Europe ;-)

Amazing story

An amazing story about a surfer being rescued some 28hrs after falling overboard. Read the whole story here.
Great day at the beach
1:08 PM |
Forecast was good, wind and blue sky and on the baby-front it was still quiet, so a great day to head to the beach.
OMG.... it's very windy ;-) Gusts over 40 knots....
Weapons of choice, admired by my 2 (soon to be 3) girls ;-)
Finish the day with a bite.... Fish & chips!

Kitchenaid
2:26 AM |
We just invested a good amount of money in a great device: the Kitchenaid Artisan Mixer. But I found a picture with a great alternative use for the mixer ;-)
This guy uses the Kitchenaid as a rotary device to make the shaft of a SUP paddle. I guess we'll stick to food ;-)
Best wipe out
1:38 PM |
A friend brought this Wipe Out I.P.A. by Port Brewing Company. As I didn't have any water time lately, this was definitely my best wipe out so far this year ;-)
